Evesham Country Park

On behalf of Eagle One Country Shopping Ltd, Eagle Land promoted an Outline planning application to Wychavon District Council for the expansion of the commercial and leisure facilities at its 125 acre Evesham Country Park.

The existing development comprises 60,000 sq ft of retail and leisure, including a 40,000 sq ft Garden Centre. An additional 80,000 sq ft of 'Outdoor' themed retail and leisure has been granted planning permission and will be brought forward alongside a much enhanced Country Park.

The scheme will also include 60 Holiday Lodges, enhanced fishing facilities with the creation of three new lakes and improved fishing on the River Avon, cycle paths, BBQ and picnic areas, nature walks and Community and Heritage orchards.

Enhanced linkages with Evesham town centre will also be provided via cycle and footpath links, new bus services and the construction of a landing stage to facilitate a river link. Eagle Land is working up the Reserved Matters application and construction is due to start on site in summer 2012.
